Home Sweet Home
Well I'm home for the weekend. It's the first time I've been back since Christmas. Life is just too busy in Sarasota to get away very often, but I'm hoping to change that this summer and next semester.
Getting all of my evaluations in from class and so far it appears I've sat'd everything (for those living outside of the new college bubble, I'll translate: I passed). It wasn't the best semester in the world because when you take 7 classes you can't quite kick ass in everything, but I did really well considering. Most of all I learned don't take 7 classes at New College during the Spring semester or you'll come close to dying and/or your head will explode.
The summer intership looks intriguing. I'm going to be working 2 days a week at a homeless day shelter and then 3 days a youth shelter. It should be very VERY challenging, but an amazing experience. One I definately need if I'm serious about this teaching thing.
On the love front things are great. It seems everyday Alex and I get closer. And by closer I don't mean the whole we're planning out our forever and picking a wedding date or anything, but closer together and far and understanding and affection. It's really nice. This summer is definately going to be a test because with our schedule's we aren't going to be able to spend as much time together as we have been able to.
uh...well...in the middle of doing what all college kids do when they come home....washing clothes...so off to fold!
